General internal refurbishment of this residence included extending some of the rooms, new windows and doors, bathroom and laundry refurbishment, new floor finishes and electric wiring. The main extension is the large new living area that was built over the existing outdoor alfresco at the southern end of the property and confined by a retaining wall. A skillion roof was chosen to allow for the northern light to be directed into the large living area and to provide spaciousness.
