The design intent required this branch to act as a brand beacon, enabling the best HBF ‘Hyper-Personalised’ experience for members and supporting the ultimate in HBF community. Internally it provides the setting; empowering members to make confident, improved and intelligent decisions about their insurance. Efficiency, easy processes, education and information are provided in an acoustically sound and visually informative setting. The ‘Hyper-Personalised’ experience is achieved by the movement flow from the self-service zones at the entry to private, more intimate areas at the end requiring ‘face -to face’, ‘heart-to-heart’ consultative conversation with personalised expertise. Smaller and larger event settings are provided. Internal architectural elements such as the overhead acoustic treatments, suspended lighting tracks, vertical garden and large potted trees, provide the human scale required in this vast space. Together with lighting and state of the art technology, these bring all the requirements of the conceptual framework together.
This project was invited to enter in the Western Australian Architecture Awards 2019 – Interior Architecture.
