Conceptual Design for a large Fire Brigade Station (Emergency Services Precinct).
The building itself and the various associated facilities, are to accommodate requirements for the Bush Fire Brigade as well as for Volunteer Support and the house the numerous Incident Control Vehicles. The centre will include meeting Rooms and Offices as well as large Training Areas. There will be Canteen, Bathroom as well as Locker Room and Laundry amenities. Internal Canteen opens out to an enclosed external courtyard with BBQ facilities and then through to the external courtyard to form one visually flowing space.
The large building will stand bold and vibrant against the landscape making a strong appearance in the surrounding suburbs. Internally the finishes are designed to create a calm and serene environment for the courageous occupants to come and relax after all their hard work!
