Creating a more open and welcoming street presence, the interior fit-out incorporates both retail banking and multifunctional seminar spaces. Natural light was encouraged and the use of indoor plants creates a fresh environment for staff and visitors. Thoughtful space planning caters for multiple uses and the considerate application of lighting allows for various areas to be utilised at different times of the day / night. Some issues arose from long supplier lead times and the works within the programme were adjusted to suit. Close co-ordination with the contractor, consulting engineers and the building surveyor resulted in a positive outcome for all involved.
